Tainan's Xì Cháo Theatre Museum Opens, Promoting Traditional Opera Arts and Education

The Tainan City Government has been actively promoting the development of historical spaces for years, and has recently completed a new cultural hub in the East District - the "Xiachia Art Museum". Officially opened today, the Xiachia Art Museum has been entrusted to the Mei Hua Yuan Drama Group for operation, a professional troupe that specializes in promoting Chinese opera and cultural education, bringing new vitality to Tainan City's cultural development.

The opening of the Xiachia Art Museum is part of the Tainan City Government's initiatives to develop the cultural creative industry, aiming to make Tainan City a cultural and artistic center in the southern part of the city. The Mei Hua Yuan Drama Group is a well-known troupe in the Chinese opera world, established in 1954 and having performed in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, receiving widespread acclaim. The troupe's opening in Tainan City is their first attempt in the city and an important milestone in the city's development of the cultural creative industry.
