Zhongmu County, with a history of over 2,700 years, served as the capital of the State of Zhao during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. After the death of Marquis Xiang of Zhao, his successor, Marquis Xian of Zhao, ascended the throne at a young age and moved the capital from Jinyang to Zhongmu in 423 BC. The city remained the capital until 386 BC, when Marquis Jing of Zhao relocated the capital to Handan, making Zhongmu the capital for a total of 38 years.

The county is the birthplace of many well-known historical tales, among which the most renowned include the Battle of Guandu, the Three Wonders of Lu Gong, the Hometown of Zhong Yao, the Anecdotes of Pan An, and Confucius Turning His Carriage Around. These stories have not only shaped Zhongmu's cultural heritage but have also profoundly influenced the course of Chinese history.

History Zhongmu has a long history and has been an important region of agricultural civilization in Central China since ancient times. Multiple cultural relics have been discovered within the country, showcasing its rich historical and cultural heritage. Getting there

By plane Zhongmou County is 25 kilometers south of Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport and you can reach two-thirds of the country's major cities in 1.5 hours.

By train There is a high-speed train from Zhengzhou East Station to Zhongmu County, which takes approximately 20 minutes. The Jingguang High-Speed Rail (Jinggang High-Speed Rail) and S223 run north-south; they connect west to the Jingguang Railway and G107 Line, and east to the Jingjiu Railway and G106 Line. By car From central Zhengzhou, take the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway (G4) and reach Zhongmu County in approximately 30 minutes.
