The county is approximately 320 kilometers northeast of central Chongqing, and about 50 km east of Wanzhou District.

Tourist Information See the official website of Yunyang UNESCO Global Geopark. The park is responsible for the management of both Longgang National Geopark and Yunyang Dinosaur National Geopark.

Getting there

By plane The nearest airport is Wanzhou Wuqiao Airport in Wanzhou.

By train 1 Yunyang Railway Station (云阳站), Ping’an Street, Huangshi Town (黄石镇平安街) (bus nos. 610, 616 and 623). Trains from Chongqing North Railway Station in central Chongqing take approximately one and a half hours to reach this station. (updated Aug 2025)
