The MBTA bus lines 712 and 713 serve Winthrop from the Orient Heights Blue Line station seven days a week.

The Winthrop Ferry runs seasonally between Winthrop Landing, Quincy, Logan Airport, Boston Seaport, and Boston Aquarium (Central Wharf). When in season, the service is 7 days per week.
