History Way Kambas National Park is one of two conservation areas in the form of national parks in Lampung Province besides the Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park. Stipulated by Decree of the Minister of Forestry Number 670/Kpts-II/1999 dated 26 August 1999, the WKNP area has an approximately 125,631.31 ha.

It has an "elephant school", where elephants are trained. You can ride elephants and watch a show of them dancing.

You can feel the experience of accommodation similar to Bali because in the Gunung Agung hamlet, there are some homestay maintained by people from Bali that have lived for a long time in there.
