Shahrak-e Rijab travel guide

Understand

Shahrak-e Rijab (also Romanized as Shahrak-e Rījāb; also known as Rījāb) is 120 km northwest of the center of the province on a route called Dalahu to Sarpol city. "Rijav" in Kurdish means "water drop", which has changed to Rijab due to the passage of time and ease of pronunciation. From the literal meaning of rijab, it can be understood that you will surely encounter areas full of water and greenery. Rijab is a mountainous region and mountains such as Tash Khazi, Qoleh Barzeh, Talash, and Mullah Soura, are located in this region.
