A General aviation airport, and the closest to Rossford. Offers charter flights. Built in 1928, this small airport had storied visitors such as Amelia Earhart, Jimmy Doolittle, and Charles Lindbergh before it was overshadowed by the more modern express airport. By car Rossford is conveniently located on I-75 and on the 80/90 turnpike. It is a quick 15-minute drive south from Toledo a 2 hour drive north from Dayton and a 1 hour drive south from Detroit.
