About Rolleston
Rolleston is a small town of 132 in Central Queensland. It doesn't contain anything of note, but it's the closest town to Carnarvon National Park, about 105 km away. It's also the last stop for fuel if heading south; Injune, the next town, is 175 km to the south.

Getting there
Rolleston is at the intersection of three highways – the A7 Carnarvon Highway from Roma and St George, the A7 Dawson Highway from Emerald and Charters Towers, and State Route 60 (also forms part of the Dawson Highway) from Bauhinia, Banana and Gladstone.

There is nothing of particular interest in Rolleston except for Carnarvon National Park about an hour to the south.
