Getting there

By car Robe is on the coast between Mount Gambier and Adelaide, just off B1. It is around 3.5 hours and 340km drive from Adelaide and around 7 hours and 500km from Melbourne.

By bus Premier Stateliner run a bus every day except Saturday from Adelaide to Mount Gambier via the coast, which stops in Robe.

Not historic, but a concrete structure built in 1972, which its purpose was to replace the now defunct Cape Jaffa Lighthouse near Kingston. 2 Robe Customs House Maritime Museum, 1 Royal Circus, ☏ +61 8 8768 2465. Do

Fishing Beaches 1 Little Dip Conservation Park. A conservation park that conserves a chain of small lakes which combine to provide habitat for several bird species. It has quite some nice beaches too. (updated Feb 2022)
