Rainier is a town in the Northern Oregon Coast region. It is a charming, small town on the Colombia River where colonial history comes alive and visitors enjoy the waterfront views. It is a stop on the Lewis and Clark Trail for travelers interested in the historic exploration of America's northwest region.

Rainier is a small town in Northwestern Oregon. It is located across the Columbia River from Longview, WA.
Do
Trap shooting is available to the public at Rainier Rod and Gun Club, located at 28243 Old Rainier Rd, every first and third Saturdays at 10 AM and every Friday starting at 6PM. Rainier City Park is one of the nicest parks in the region. It is new, has a very nice play ground for children, baseball diamond, tennis courts and a skate park, covered picnic shelter, restrooms and lots of grassy area. It is along the Columbia River. You can swim, however, it is not a great place to swim.
