Pemalang cuisine Apem Comal, This snack is made from a mixture of rice flour, eggs, and brown sugar placed on a banana leaf. It's delicacy from Comal District of Pemalang. Grombyang, rice with sliced buffalo meat and gravy, served in a small bowl and topped with buffalo satay. Lontong dekem, consists of sliced lontong, yellow coconut milk sauce like curry, and sprinkled with coconut serundeng, crackers, and fried onions. Lontong dekem is usually served with satay. The lontong dekem dish is always synonymous with the chicken satay that accompanies it, namely fried satay and soupy satay. Sate loso, a buffalo or beef satay with reddish peanut sauce served with meat soup.
