As of 2023, Lame Deer has not been Google-mapped. Once in town however, it is easy to see locations, or ask at the gas station. Chief Dull Knife College, a small two-year college, is located in town.
Getting there
Lame Deer is located on State Highway 212. The nearest commercial airport is in Billings.
Getting around
You will likely arrive by car, which is the easiest way to get around. Walking or biking once in town is also possible.

1 Northern Cheyenne Pow Wow (3 miles south of Lame Deer on Cheyenne Avenue). Every July 4th. Traditional pow wow plus parade, competitive dancing and other events celebrating the Northern Cheyenne people. Camping available. (updated Jan 2024)
