Understand
The village is in the foothills of the Western Ghats, surrounded by lush green hills and dense forests. Getting there
The nearest railway station is at Sangameshwar on the Konkan Railway line. From Sangameshwar, take an MSRTC bus to Devrukh and from there, buses or private vehicles to Sakharpa. Khadikolvan is a 45-minute ride from Sakharpa.

The village is small and best explored on foot. Narrow internal paths lead to various temples, riverbanks, and springs.
