Located in Devanahalli, north of Bangalore, Kempegowda International Airport is the third busiest airport in India, after the airports in Delhi and Mumbai. Opened in 2008, it is entirely solar-powered, and since its expansion in 2013, it can handle aircraft as large as the Airbus A380.

Getting around

Free inter-terminal transfer buses shuttle between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, operating 24/7.

There are ATMs, bureaux de change, two units of Cafe Coffee Day and other cafés, duty-free shops, restaurants, and day hotels at the airport.
