1 Thol Wildlife Sanctuary (70 km from Mehsana; 40 km from Ahmedabad), ☏ +91 2717 223500. Small and beautiful bird sanctuary. This 7-km² artificially created fresh water has several islands. Surrounded by marshes, it attracts migratory birds in winter including pintails, flamingos, cranes, pelicans, mallards, geese and many more. 150 species of birds are seen here.
