About Guayama
Guayama, popularly known as Witch Town ("Ciudad Bruja"), is a city and municipality located along the Caribbean coast of southeastern Puerto Rico. Its historic downtown area is famous for its colonial architecture and the area is famous for its sports teams, sugarcane history and natural reserves.

Understand
Guayama has a scenic coastline, beaches, forests, historic buildings, and museums. Guayama has its pueblo with a historic Roman Catholic church and Spanish-style recreational plaza. Streets run perpendicular to the plaza and are dotted with quaint shops.

1 Guayama Pueblo (downtown Guayama). See the historic Roman Catholic church, Spanish-style recreational plaza, and the municipal buildings surrounded by streets and shops. You can drive around the pueblo or park your car and walk around the square and into the plaza. The Spanish law, which regulated life in Puerto Rico in the early 19th century, stated the plaza's purpose was for celebrations and festivities.
