Getting there

By car I-65 runs on the east side of the city. Exit-243 serves Crown Point. From here North US-231 enters the Crown Point.

By bus From Gary Route 17 of the Gary Public Transportation Corporation's commuter bus can be taken to the Lake County Government Complex on the northside of Crown Point.

Getting around

Downtown Crown Point is best traveled by foot. A car is best used to extensively explore the city. Crown Point has a trolley that it uses for transporting people during the summertime around the city. This service is provided most noticeably during special events.
