Cap Skirring travel guide

Understand

Cap Skirring and its twin town Kabrousse are calmer and less touristy (although only slightly) than the resorts of the Petite Côte, yet they boast what is arguably the best beach in Senegal. It's not so calm as to be dull, however. There is a Club Med mind you. There are also plenty of more boutique-style hotels, plus a lively nightlife scene to boot.

Getting there

1 Cap Skirring International Airport (CSK IATA). This tiny airport has flights from Dakar on Air Senegal and Transair. (updated Dec 2023) You can get a sept place (shared taxi) from Ziguinchor for about CFA2200.

Sleep

1 No Stress Hotel (about 4 km from the village), ☏ +221 776 146 450. A 1-star hotel on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean with a magnificent view of the sea and the beach.
