Understand

Located in the midwestern part of Gyeonggi-do, it is a plain area spread along the Gulpocheon Stream basin that flows downstream of the Han River. It is a transportation hub in the northeast and in the west and in the southeast, Siheung and Gwangmyeong. It is very convenient to transport because it is close to Seoul. Bucheon has a large population and an area where various cultures and industries coexist.

History In the current literature, the history of Bucheon has been generally described since the Goguryeo period. Bupyeong, the traditional era, including the current Bucheon area, is recorded as Goguryeo's jubuto by various librarians, including the Three Kingdoms Sagi. Jubuto was the first place name for the Bucheon area in the literature.

Getting there

By subway Line 1: If you depart from Seoul, you can take Line 1 to Bucheon Station. Line 7: From various stations in Seoul, you can use Line 7 to get to Jungdong Station in Bucheon, etc.
