1 Badarpur Fort. A historic Mughal-era military fortification located along the south bank of the Barak River. Built in 1612, the fort marked the official boundary separating the sprawling Mughal Empire from the neighbouring Kachari Kingdom. The fort comes in with high defensive walls, and multiple security watchtowers. (updated May 2026)
