Understand
Agbokim waterfalls is located in the Etung local government area of Cross River State. The waterfalls are made up of seven streams plunging down the high cliff in a cascading display of seven-part waterfalls into the tropical rainforest below.
History Agbokim Waterfalls' discovery can be traced to the early 1900s when an Ijagam hunter named NTankum discovered the falls and the area around. He brought his families to live in the hills area to inhabit the waterfall area.
Landscape The landscape of the falls has hills and is steeply curved.

The waterfalls are about 15 kilometres from Ikom and 320 kilometres from Calabar
By plane Margaret Ekpo International Airport (Calabar Airport) is the closest airport to the waterfalls. The distance between Calabar Airport and Agbokim Waterfalls is about 315 kilometres. Thus, if you arrive at Calabar by flight, you can get private taxis at the airport park that would take you to a motor park in the city, where you board a taxi to Ikom from where you would find another taxi to the waterfalls.

Getting around
Due to the remoteness of this location, the major means of transport is motorcycle but get a private taxi or charter from outside town for convenience.

Lodging There are no hotels in Agbokim. It is advised to lodge at a hotel in Ikom or Calabar.
