Shikogawa Dam
The 687th tallest dam in the world
Shikogawa Dam is a gravity dam located in Ehime Prefecture in Japan. It is used for irrigation and power production. The catchment area of the dam is 17.2 km2. The dam impounds about 8 ha of land when full and can store 1300 thousand cubic metres of water. The construction of the dam was started in 1987 and completed in 2010.
