Honzawa Dam

Honzawa Dam (Honzawa Damu) is a rockfill dam located in Midori-ku, Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Completed in 1965, the dam is operated by the Kanagawa Prefectural Public Enterprises Agency. The dam stands at a height of 73.5 metres (241 ft) with a crest length of 234 metres (768 ft). It creates an artificial reservoir known as Lake Shiroyama (Shiroyama-ko), which serves as the upper reservoir for the Shiroyama Pumped Storage Hydroelectric Power Station.
