Abiquiu Dam

Abiquiu Dam is a dam on the Rio Chama, located about 60 miles (97 km) northwest of Santa Fe in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, United States. It impounds the Rio Chama to form Abiquiu Lake. It is one of the four United States Army Corps of Engineers projects for flood and sediment control on the Rio Grande system, operating in conjunction with Cochiti Dam, Galisteo Dam and Jemez Canyon Dam.
