Șamșud (Hungarian: Szilágysámson) is a commune located in Sălaj County, Crișana, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Șamșud and Valea Pomilor (Mocirla until 1956, Mocsolya). The Șamșud gas field lies within the perimeter of the commune.
