Deir el-Roumi

Deir el-Roumi (/ “Monastery of the Romans”) is an ancient Egyptian temple dedicated to the worship of Montu. It was built during the 2nd century by the Roman emperor Antoninus Pius in the Valley of the Queens, near Luxor. Following the spread of Christianity, the temple was converted into a Coptic monastery.
