About
The Gdańsk Castle (Polish: Zamek w Gdańsku) was a large castle that existed in the modern-day Old Town of the city of Gdańsk (also known in German as Danzig) from the mid-14th century until it was taken down in 1454. It was constructed and managed by the State of the Teutonic Order. Some of its remnants are on the regional heritage list.
