Genesis Convention Center

The Genesis Convention Center was a multi-purpose arena and convention center in downtown Gary, Indiana, United States which has been closed since 2020. Opened in 1981, it features a 24,472 sq ft arena floor with a 49 ft ceiling and the attached "Indiana Hall," a combined theater/ballroom seating about 1,200. It is designed to host up to 7,000 people. It served as a key venue for sporting, cultural, and civic events. It is scheduled for demolition in 2026.
