Ōdachi Caves
Takahata, Japan
The Ōdachi Cave (, Ōdachi dōkutsu) is an archaeological site with a cave dwelling in use in the early Jōmon period (8000 to 2500 BC), located in what is now part of the town of Takahata, Yamagata in the Tōhoku region of northern Japan. The site was designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 1980.
