Villa of Herodes Atticus

North Kynouria Municipality, Greece

Villa of Herodes Atticus is a Roman villa located on the outskirts of Doliana and near Astros in Arcadia, Greece. It was developed between the 1st and 5th centuries by the family of Herodes Atticus, a Greek rhetorician famous for his fortune and his actions of public patronage. The villa is one of the main vestiges of Roman villa architecture in Greece.
