Chōshichiyachi Shell Mound

The Chōshichiyachi Shell Midden (, Chōshichiyachi kaizuka) is an archaeological site in the Ichikawa-chō neighborhood of the city of Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture, in the Tōhoku region of northern Japan, with an initial Jōmon period shell midden and traces of a settlement. The site was designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 1981.
