Asine
Nafplio Municipality, Greece
Asine (; Ancient Greek: Ἀσίνη) was an Ancient Greek city on the coast of ancient Argolis on a promontory locally known as Kastraki or Paliokastro near the modern village of Asine and Tolon. The rocky peninsula measuring 330 x 150 m and rising 52 m above sea level had strategic advantages and its natural sheltered harbour played a key role in its development over the centuries.
