Anopolis

Sfakia Municipality, Greece

Anopolis was a town and polis (city-state) of ancient Crete. Stephanus of Byzantium claims Anopolis an earlier name of, rather than a predecessor settlement to, Araden Its site is located near modern Anopoli.
