Wien-Aspern Airport

Wien-Aspern Airport (ICAO: LOWA) was an airport in Aspern, Vienna, Austria. It was established on 23 June 1912, and operated until closure on 30 April 1977. Throughout its history, it was used by the Austro-Hungarian Air Force during World War I, Luftwaffe during the Anschluss in World War II, and the Soviet Air Forces during Red Army occupation in the 1950s.
