Amman-Marka International Airport

Amman City Airport (IATA: ADJ, ICAO: OJAM), commonly known as Marka International Airport (previously Amman Civil Airport), is located in Marka district, Greater Amman Municipality, Jordan, some 5 kilometres (3.1 mi, 2.7 NM) northeast of Amman's city centre. ACA served as Amman's main airport from 1950 until 1983, when Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) replaced it. After renewal of QAIA in 2013, ACA stopped receiving commercial flights. In 2026, commercial flights to ACA resumed, and the airport was renewed, serving as a complimentary secondary airport to QAIA for medium-sized aircraft including low-cost carriers. ACA is also is an aviation education and training hub and hosts air freight operations. It serves as the home base for Arab Wings and Jordan International Air Cargo, and the Jordan Airports Company is headquartered at the airport.
