Tibooburra is the most northwestern town of New South Wales, silently sitting in the corner of the outback, hiding its true beauty until you visit.

The primary mode of transport accessible to Tibooburra is by car. Tibooburra can be accessed via the Silver City Highway (B79), 4 hours from Broken Hill. To get to Broken Hill, there are regular serviced flights and trains once a week to Broken Hill.

By car Car is by far the best way to travel, especially in the hot summer summer days. Most of the roads in Tibooburra are paved; the Silver City Highway is paved for its entire length, north and south of Tibooburra.

By walking Tibboburra is a walkable town. It will take approximately 25 minutes from the northernmost point of the town to the southernmost point of the town.
