Sri City or Sricity is a business city at Tada about 55 km north of Chennai on NH 5 along the border of Andhra Pradesh (AP) and Tamil Nadu (TN) States of India. Much of Sri City lies in Chittoor District and a small part in Nellore District of AP, adjacent to Tiruvallur District of TN.
The Satish Dhawan Space Centre (aka SHAR), India’s satellite and rocket launching centre is situated at Sriharikota, which is on the eastern side of the Pulicat Lake separating Sri City and the satellite launching station.

By train The closest railway station is 1 Tada, which is 0.5 km from Sri City and local trains are available from Chennai Central to Tada.

By car Sri City is 56 km from Chennai towards north on NH5 from Koyambedu Bus Station. the approximate return taxi fare from Chennai to would be Indica (4 people) ₹1,400, Qualis (6 people) ₹2,000.
By bus There are plenty of buses to Tada from Koyambedu, one such bus is Bus No.114 'Chennai to Kalahasthi' which has a stop over at Tada.
