Oneonta is a small town in the mountains of Alabama, home to the Covered Bridge Festival. For once it seems the North and South have some commonality, as this Oneonta bears the name after the one in New York.

Another single lane bridge, built a little later in 1933, that stretches some 324 feet. (updated Oct 2021) 3 Nectar Falls, 16138 AL-160, Cleveland. Like a little water terrace with the after effects of an abandoned covered bridge nearby. (updated Oct 2021) 4 Palisades Park, 1225 Palisades Pkwy. Daily 9AM-9PM. Although there are some motels in Oneonta, you'd do well to stay elsewhere because the ones here are really second rate.
