Kondapalli is a village 16 km (9.9 mi) west of Vijayawada in central Andhra Pradesh. The village is known for making toys with light-weight wood sourced from the hill forest.

1 Kondapalli Fort (Kondapalli Kila). Built on a hill, this fort features an impressive three-storeyed rock tower and was witness to the glory of many dynasties. This fort was built by King Krishna Deva Raya. It served as a business centre. The fort was also used as a military training base by the British rulers. (updated May 2026) Kondapalli Reserve Forest. Spread over an area of 30,000 acres (12,000 hectares), the forest is home to several carnivores like leopards, wild dogs, and a few others like, jackals, wolves and civet cats. The herbivores in the forest include, wild boars, sambar deer, chital, barking deer, rhesus monkey and four-horned antelopes. (updated May 2026)
