The Friday Night Jamboree, which features local and area bluegrass, gospel and old-time bands, has been held each Friday night in Floyd for many years. Floydfest, an annual music festival held in late July, attracts thousands of visitors and encompasses many genres, from mountain music to electronic music to performing arts.
