Dawu Township

城市概覽

The majority inhabitants of the township are the indigenous Paiwan people. Dawu has a tropical monsoon climate. The township is known for its extreme heat due to Foehn wind effects during the daytime especially during the summer months.

By rail The township is accessible via the following TRA stations:

1 Dawu railway station (大武車站). (updated Dec 2020) 2 Guzhuang Signal railway station (古莊車站). Guzhuang was the second least-used TRA station, in 2015, 281 passengers boarding and 470 passengers alighting. (updated Dec 2020)
