Cotuit is a village of the town of Barnstable on Cape Cod. Cotuit Oyster Company has been producing oysters in the pretty harbor since 1837. In this quiet residential area with upscale summer retreats, the harbor provides great boating and kayaking and some beautiful views.

Named after the legend in Cotuit that it was purchased from the natives for a kettle and a hoe. Sports on TV, friendly locals.
