– 50% Off Shipping Fee until February 10 (Wed)

TOKYO, Feb. 4, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Taiwan’s BeeCruise Inc. is currently exhibiting products from Aomori Prefecture’s official store on the e-commerce site “Buyee” here in Taiwan in cooperation with the prefectural government back in northern Japan.

And until next Wednesday, February 10th, the company is halving shipping fees to help introduce the iconic fruit offerings from the renowned “Apple Kingdom of Japan,” as the prefecture is often called.

But it is not only ‘apples’ in their most basic form that the online exhibition is showcasing.

Other products from Aomori such as apple juice, jams and sweets as well as scallop snacks, processed fishery products like freshwater clams and mackerel and for those old enough ‘Nihonshu’ sake, and tea can be ordered for delivery across Taiwan.

Rice, local Aomori woodwork, glass crafts, and ceramics are also exhibited.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic of course means we cannot easily get to Aomori right now – or anywhere in Japan – but at least some culinary offerings of the northernmost prefecture on Japan’s main island of Honshu can get to us.
