Thailand King second son

While there is not a lot of talk about Thailand and we know things are going quite calm out there in that part of the world, there is somewhat of a breaking news in Thailand in the last few days as it is seen that second son of the king of Thailand has returned to his home country after a period of 27 years being away from it. It is reported that “The second-eldest son of Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn visited a child-care centre for underprivileged families on Tuesday during a surprise visit to the kingdom”.

Now, we don’t exactly know the reason behind Vacharaesorn Vivacharawongse, name of Thailand King’s second son, visit to the kingdom after so many years but we also don’t know the exact details about why he went away for so many years either. Only thing known is the king’s second son “works at a law firm in New York, visited the Foundation for Slum Child Care, which is supported by the royal family, and greeted well-wishers”. Talking to the reporters, he said that “I am delighted to return … I have been away for a long time, 27 years,” and added that “It is like a dream come true to be back,” Also, we are yet to have any statement from the Kingdom regarding his visit but we are sure that there will be one in the coming days.

One person named Angsana said that “I am very moved, he has been away for a long time. To me, he is still a member of the royal family,” It is worth noting that He has no formal royal title but he technically retains a status bestowed when he was a child as a grandson of a monarch. Going back in time, we can tell you “Thailand King’s second son, his mother, three brothers, and one sister were estranged after the 1996 divorce, in which his mother was publicly accused of adultery, and they moved abroad”. But we now know that her sister was accepted back to the royal family and given the title of Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana who is a fashion designer by profession.
