Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, has promised to visit the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. This makes the president one of the first main world rulers to imply his attendance. His statements showed up in a video call with Xi Jinping, the Chinese president. Xi Jinping said he was waiting for a “get-together”. It comes as a rising number of nations have enlisted a diplomatic sanction of the Games.

This is because of affirmed human rights misuses in China, which Beijing refuses. Mr. Putin said he would like to bring up that they always assist each other when it comes to global sports partnerships. It includes their position against trying to politicize athletics and the Olympic Movement. Mr. Putin noted this in comments brought by state-owned media platform The Global Times.

They accused China of racial killing in its repression of the especially Muslim Uyghur group in Xinjiang. China repeatedly rejected this allegation. The suppression of political liberties in Hong Kong is also among the sensitive problems that have emerged. Worries for Chinese tennis performer Peng Shuai, who was hidden in public for weeks after she condemned a top administration official of sexual assault, are also among the diplomatic problems.

Australia, the UK, the US, and Canada have announced their high-level administrators will not join the winter Games. The game will occur in February as an outcome. Nonetheless, athletes from these nations will attend. China has also made a mission at nations to join the sensitive boycott. China says they would compensate the rate for their mistaken actions.

Australia, Britain, and the United States have utilized the 2022 Winter Olympics outlet for political manipulation. A spokesperson Wang Wenbin at the Chinese foreign ministry, noted this. On Thursday, the Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, also said that there is no plan to visit the Games. Canada and the UK administrators will protest the China Olympics. The US will compensate for the Olympics boycott, said China.
