India will launch its Chandrayaan-3 mission to moon on July 14

We know that a lot of things are happening around the world and it is easy to get confused as well as dejected by the events but it is also worth noting that a lot of developments, other than politics, are also taking place around the world and we have a report from India. The country is going to launch its 3rd mission to the Moon which is known as Chandrayaan-3 and this comes four years after its 2nd mission to the Moon was launched in 2019 which was launched successfully but it failed to land on the Moon due to technical difficulties. At that time itself, the 3rd mission to Moon was announced and it is finally ready for launch.

It is worth noting that the launch will take place on July 14 at 2:35pm Indian Standard Time which means that if you are interested in rockets then you must watch how everything works out. Also, the Indian Prime Minister Modi who is currently on a visit to France, also wished good luck for the launch via Twitter and also said that “This remarkable mission will carry the hopes and dreams of our nation,” and added that July 14 will be “etched in golden letters as far as India’s space sector is concerned.”

Now, some would be wondering why India is launching a Moon mission when the world is moving to Mars with Elon Musk’s SpaceX doing a lot in that space. Well, the fact is that only three countries have been able to successfully unfurl their flag on the surface of Moon which are the US, China and Russia so it clearly tells you that not a lot has been done for the Moon mission but due to some reason, everyone has already switched to Mars without knowing much about our Moon itself. ISRO’s former chairman K Sivan also said that “India was planning to set up an independent space station by 2030. Currently, the only space stations available for expedition crews are the International Space Station(shared between several countries) and China’s Tiangong Space Station” which would be a huge achievement indeed.
