Glico Philippines, Inc. announced the launch of the new Pocky Sakura in the Philippines
With the Sakura Season coming to the Philippines by way of the limited-edition Pocky Sakura, fans can experience the authentic taste & fragrance of sakura and creamy chocolate in every bite.

Pocky’s Sakura flavour initially has a slightly aromatic, milky strawberry-like scent. And when you start to chew, it is said, the scent of strawberries fades away and the delicate scent lingers in your mouth.

“Sakura” in Japanese means cherry blossoms and is Japan’s national flower.

The main sakura season in Japan is from February to April, and when sakura is in full bloom, many people will have parties near the sakura trees and enjoy beautiful tree viewings with food.

In Japan, March 27th is even “Sakura No Hi, Day of Cherry Blossoms” set by the Japan Cherry Blossom Association in 1992.

Traveling to see the cherry blossoms however, is still out of the questions at the moment because of the pandemic.

However, the spirit of spring lives on in Pocky Sakura.

Pocky Sakura is available at a major retail outlets and online stores in the Philippines including Shopee and LAZADA, but only for a limited time while stocks last.
