A Texas nurse has been accused of murdering four patients. Those patients have reportedly died after he has injected them with air following their heart surgeries.

William Davis, a 37 years old Texas nurse, had been convicted of capital murder as a Jury on Tuesday ordered during the hearing. Then could now face the death penalty.

Prosecutors said that he had targeted seven people from June 2017. The hospital Christus Mother Frances, where the attacks happened, has said that the verdict of the jury can help to bring closure to the harmed.

Men with the age group between 47-74 have experienced symptoms like seizures and further died due to fatal brain damage. The air reaches out through the arterial lines.

The court heard that four of the murdered men were initially recovering from their operations. It gave doctors shock about how the deterioration to the health happened so rapidly. Authorities further said that the doctor found it from CT scans that showed air in the brain of the patient. He further realized that there was something weird which has happened.

During the trial, they played the security footage. Davis entered the room of one of the patients. His heart monitor alarm also sounded just after three minutes. Later he died due to the injection.

The lawyer of Davis, Philip Hayes, said during the trial that there was no evidence that he had killed men with his foul play. He further suggested that Davis is a scapegoat here for a hospital that has plenty of procedural issues.

While speaking during the trial Jacob Putman, the district attorney for Smith County in Texas, said that a hospital is an ample place for a serial killer to hide.

Prosecutors will now seek the death penalty of Davis. They claimed that he enjoyed the carrying out of murders and much liked to kill those people. Davis will now remain in custody at the Smith County jail with an $ 8.75 million bail bond.
