WHO holds greater concerns for increasing cases in Europe

WHO cautions the warning amid Covid’s cases in Europe. Citizens all over the world should take the mild illness seriously. It is nowhere near over now.

People all over the world have assumed covid over. But, the new variant is still dangerous. European nations are recording high cases. France also reported a million new cases. WHO concerns Europe’s behavior against Omicron.

Similarly, Germany recorded 100,000 new cases. It has the highest infection rate within 24 hours.

Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus reported a total of 18 million new infections last week. There are a lot of assumptions. But, the virus is causing deaths. People need to take it seriously. The less severe cases are troubling the health facilities.

He cautioned the global leaders that “with the incredible growth of Omicron globally, new variants are likely to emerge, which is why tracking and assessment remain critical”.

The countries with low vaccination rates are in great danger. Also, unvaccinated people stand a high risk of illness.

Mike Ryan, Emergency Director at WHO, calls Omicron can boost the death rates. The cases are rising exponentially. The severity is mild. It can also lead to hospitalization and even death.

The new variant is calling out 33,493 daily cases of Covid 19. In Italy, the case went high up to 228,179. Germany is recording 228,179 cases every day.

The incident rate for the cases also stroked high. It went up to 584.4 cases per 100,000 people.

At the same time, the covid situation in France also got worse. It reported 464 769 new infections on Tuesday. The daily record soared high to 300,000 new cases. The infection will climb even more in the coming days.

French ministers are in a continuous struggle with the teacher’s unions. They are in continuous protest against the government. The government is also continuously functioning for more testing.

Teachers are calling for the disruption of classes. It is getting unmanageable. France is also mishandling the Covid protocols.
