US President’s motorcade got hit by another car at campaign headquarters

We know that there is a heavy security presence wherever the US President goes because he is considered to be the most important individual in the whole of the US as long as he is the head of the state. This is also because he is believed to have all the important codes when it comes to the secret services such as the FBI and most probably has access to nuclear codes as well. However, a very abnormal incident took place where it is known that the secret service car from the US President’s motorcade got hit by another car that was passing by that same road. The incident took place in Delaware which is also famous for being a tax-free state where Joe Biden was visiting his campaign headquarters. Further details of the incident are as follows.

In a report by CNN, it was reported that “The US Secret Service confirmed that a vehicle in the motorcade was hit by another car as Biden got into his car. There was “no protective interest associated with this event,”. The agency further added that “Today, at approximately 8:09 p.m., a Secret Service vehicle securing the President’s motorcade route was struck by another vehicle in Wilmington, DE.  There was no protective interest associated with this event and the President’s motorcade departed without incident”.

The report also added that “The crash caused a loud bang on the street, and Biden looked over to see the commotion. US Secret Service surrounded the silver sedan that caused the crash, telling the male driver to put his hands up, according to pool reporters traveling with Biden.” It is also worth noting that “The impacted SUV wasn’t the president’s. Secret Service personnel escorted the president to his vehicle, where First Lady Jill Biden was already inside”. This does tell you that while the President and First Lady were present at the scene of this accident, they were not really present in the car that collided. Also, it seems to be someone who just happened to crash his car and something mischievous is not being considered regarding this incident at the moment.
